Support COA's portion of a collaborative research grant.

Help fund critical research specifically focused on advancing our understanding and treatment of chromophobe RCC. If co-funding opportunities are not available, these funds may be allocated to support smaller micro-grants for targeted research projects. Funding goals will be reviewed annually. If funding goals are not met, funds may roll over to the next year or be reallocated but must be used for research related to chromophobe RCC.

Scope of Funding

These research grants support innovative projects that advance our understanding of chromophobe RCC and develop new treatment approaches. Funds may be distributed as co-funded larger grants or as smaller micro-grants to maximize research impact. Funds may support things such as but not limited to:

  • Laboratory supplies and equipment
  • Research staff support
  • Data analysis and computational resources
  • Publication and dissemination costs
  • Project coordination and management

Impact Areas

Examples of research may include but are not limited to:

  • Novel therapeutic target identification
  • Treatment response prediction methods
  • Disease mechanism understanding
  • Clinical trial development support
  • Research result publication and sharing
